CLIFFORD PASKEL
Mr. Paskel is a founder of Paskel, Tashman & Walker, P.C., and
he has practiced law for over forty years. His many honors include
recognition from the Wayne County Board of Commissioners for “outstanding
advocacy for low income people” and “community service,” “Christian
man of the year” from The Historic Little Rock Baptist Church of Detroit,
and multiple listing as “Top Michigan Lawyers” by the Detroit News
and New York Times. Mr. Paskel acts as his firm’s senior partner and,
though the firm is full service, concentrates his practice on catastrophic
injury cases. He has tried cases in Michigan and around the country.
Mr. Paskel is a member of the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates
Forums.

BRIAN L. WALKER
Mr. Walker, a senior partner, obtained his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley
Law School in 1987. He has spent his entire career with the firm.
Mr. Walker concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law,
labor law, probate and estate planning and divorce. Mr. Walker is
politically active and supports nonpartisan legislation designed to
enhance the lives of Michigan Citizens.

MICHAEL S. TASHMAN
Mr. Tashman, a senior Partner, began his tenure with Paskel, Tashman
& Walker, P.C. immediately following his 1970 graduation from
Wayne State University Law School and admission to the bar. He is
a tort litigation and research specialist. He has devoted his career
to representing victims maimed, injured, or killed by individual and
industrial negligence.

EVAN P. SHAW
Mr. Shaw was a Law Clerk at the firm prior to his graduation from
Wayne State University Law School in 1993. He has become a lead trial
attorney and litigation specialist. He has tried civil and criminal
cases in various state district and circuit courts as well as federal
courts in Michigan. Mr. Shaw concentrates his practice in personal
injury and criminal matters.

MICHAEL J. CANTOR
Mr. Cantor has spent over 30 years in the practice of law dedicated
to obtaining benefits for injured workers and their families. He specializes
in Michigan Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability claims
including SSI. Mr. Cantor is an active member of the Michigan Association
for Justice and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants
Representatives. He has co-authored two seminars on handling Social
Security claims in Michigan. Mr. Cantor is authorized to practice
before all Michigan state and federal courts including the Sixth Circuit
and the United States Supreme Court and has appeared in several federal
courts outside of Michigan.

HEATHER PUMMILL
Ms. Pummill has been with Paskel, Tashman & Walker, P.C. for nearly
three years, and she has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan
since 2005. Ms. Pummill graduated from Michigan State University College
of Law, where her studies focused on family law. Prior to attending
law school, Ms. Pummill graduated with honors from Oakland University
with a degree in broadcast journalism. Ms. Pummill has been a member
of the Oakland County Bar Association, Inns of Court, and is currently
a member of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law section. She specializes
in the area of family law, including divorce, custody, child support,
and visitation rights. Ms. Pummill is married and the mother of three
children.

JENELLE KIERNAN
Ms. Kiernan received her Bachelors of Business degree from the University
of Michigan in 2004 and her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law
School in 2007. During law school, Ms. Kiernan wrote an article titled
“Think Like a Lawyer,” which was published in the law school newspaper.
Additionally, Ms. Kiernan received an award for “seventh best advocate”
after she was a semi-finalist moot court competitor two years in a
row. Ms. Kiernan is admitted to practice law in Michigan courts and
the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
She concentrates her practice in the areas of probate, criminal defense,
debt defense, and general civil litigation.

JORDAN A. WIENER
Mr. Wiener joined Paskel, Tashman & Walker, P.C. in January 2008.
He attended Central Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelor’s
of Science in Business Administration degree in marketing and political
science in 2004. Mr. Wiener earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan
State University College of Law in 2007, and he is now licensed to
practice in the State of Michigan and United States District Court
for the Eastern District of Michigan. Mr. Wiener concentrates his
practice in commercial and business litigation, real estate, bankruptcy,
and appellate practice.
